Sales extraordinaire?
We have an opportunity for a freelance person to come on board with Planet London. This is a commission-based role with a minimum of only 4 hours per week commitment (flexible and negotiable). We're looking for people to get out on the scene and tell lesbian and bi women about our membership scheme and its benefits. The more conversions you sign up, the more commission you will receive - simple!
Budding writer? Scene Queen? Culture vulture?
Planet London is always keen to ensure that we represent the whole community, and we want to be the voice of lesbians in London. With that in mind, we are looking for the following contributors:
Scene contributors
We regularly review local events for lesbians in London. There are more events than 1 person can cover so we're looking for a few reviewers to share the load.
Contribution requirement: 2 bar, pub or club reviews each quarter.
Cultural contributor
We are looking for someone who is into culture and the arts to review some of the lesbian focussed or run events that pop up from time to time.
Contribution requirement: 1 cultural event review in London each quarter.
Theatre and Comedy contributor
Theatre and comedy comes and goes, but when it comes to London we want to ensure our readers know about it. If you love theatre and comedy we'd love you to write for us.
Contribution requirement: 1 theatre/comedy event review in London each quarter.
Family contributor
Whether you already have a family, or if you're researching for the future, if you have an interest in LGBT families, why not get in touch.
Contribution requirement: 1 family themed
review each quarter.
Local contributor (east, west, south, north and central)
Sometimes small local events take place that are somewhat off the radar. We're looking to build up a team of 'local' contributors because we know that
it is easier to hear about these local events on the ground.
Contribution requirement: 1 local review each quarter.
Miscellaneous contributor
Want to write about something other than what we already cover? Get in contact, we always love to hear about new content ideas!
As a contributor you will get a biography on our website and all reviews you write will be published in your name.
You don't necessarily have to be a great writer, we have a dedicated editor so we can assist in making your notes into an excellent piece of information.
Planet London contributors are voluntary, unpaid positions. However, on occasion Planet London gets invited to events through VIP access or guest lists. If such tickets are offered, these will be passed on to the relevant contributor.*
